Busy
I was asked by my local yarn store, Mouline, to teach some lace knitting courses and of course I said yes. So I immediately got busy trying to come up with a small project that would teach the basic of lace knitting. I call it the Fundamentals of Lace Scarf (so imaginative).

Inca Gold 100% Baby Alpaca 4/16NM; 4.0mm needles

Hand Maiden - Mini Maiden 50% Wool 50% Silk; 4.00mm needles
This scarf uses every thing; provisional cast on, directional decreases, yarn overs before and after purl stitches. You also have a choice of doing a knitted lace or knitted on edging.

While it looks rather simple, it really wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be to fit all of those elements into one small package. I’m really hoping to turn a few more people onto the joy of lace knitting.
I’ve got so many things in the queue and now I’m planning to cast-on for two cardigans. One my own design and the other is from an Elsebeth Lavold design from Knitters magazine, winter 1998. I think I'm going to have to start finishing some things. I've also got socks on the needle!
Happy Knitting.
